~ Celebrates 5th Convocation. Takes total number of AIBS students in the industry to over 500

~ Convocation ceremony showcases a band of talents with exhilarating performances.

Hyderabad, May 24, 2011: Anoo’s International Beauty School (AIBS), Hyderabad, the educational arm of Anoo’s Salon and Clinical Services, today held its 5th Convocation at Anoo’s International Beauty School (AIBS), Somajiguda at Hyderabad. With the beauty industry growing at a rate of 15-20% per annum and the demand for skilled and professionally trained technicians at an all time high, sending out graduates from the school would not have come at a better time.

Along with its Principal, Ms. Nalini Thota, the Directors of Anoo’s were present on the occasion. Close to 100 students, both men and women had to balance between rigorous theory and practical classes to be able to qualify as a recipient of the certificates given out by AIBS. This year’s graduates form a varied band of professionals completing their courses in Advanced Diploma in Cosmetology , M.Sc Cosmetology and  specialized courses like Skin, Make-up, Nail Art, Anoo’s signature treatments, Hair, to name a few.
 
 A contented Ms. Anuradha CH, Director of Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and Women commented, “Every year as we prepare to bid good bye to our graduates, it been a sense of achievement that we are able to help fill the gap as faced by the industry. With the need and demand for trained technicians on the rise year by year, AIBS is glad to be playing a significant role as an educator and career maker for many students. We’re extremely proud of each of our graduating students today and wish them all the best as they create a niche for themselves in the industry’

Appreciating the efforts and dedication during the course of their study, AIBS also identified and acknowledged meritorious students.  The ‘Best Student’ under diploma courses was won by Ms. V. Sudha Rani whereas the ‘Best Student’ for M.Sc Cosmetology III batch was won by Ms. Alexon Clora.

Ms. Annapurna, Director of Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and Women appreciated the hard work and dedication shown by all the students and said, “Each year AIBS is blessed with bright young girls and boys and it is a privilege and opportunity to be able to help them grow into efficient professionals”

A host of performances that included dance performances from all genres of music left the audience entertained and light hearted. A starry performance of the evening came in the form of an environment theme fashion show which was showcased by the students. Designs were aimed at creating awareness on issues as global warming, receding number of tiger and peacocks and other flora and fauna from their natural habitat, depleting natural resources like water and forest which inversely impact us and our eco systems. The grand farewell and congratulatory evening was conceptualized and executed by the M.Sc students of the school along with assistance from the Management. Their tremendous hard work and meticulous planning was evident in the well orchestrated cultural sequence of programs and the engaging anchoring of the show that they put up.

“It is a joy to see students involving themselves in putting together a grand show as this one! The ideas, performances and the package as a whole was very refreshing! Kudos to all the participants” commented Ms. Anupama, Director of Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and Women.

 In their 5 years of existence, AIBS has till date send out over 500 trained professionals who form an effective workforce of premium beauty product and services across India and beyond.  The school also enjoys a unique distinction of being India’s first and only
beauty school to offer a Post Graduate course, i.e, M.Sc in Cosmetology in collaboration with the renowned Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.  Admissions for this course are now open and forms are available at all Anoo’s facilities and can be downloaded from www.aibs.in.
