Shweta Dolli was Crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2011 at the end of a grueling contest which saw Apoorva Mittra being crowned the first runner up and Nidhi Sunil as the Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2011 second runner up.

The sub contest winners were: Pantaloons Femina Miss South Perfect 10 - Apoorva Mittra, Pantaloons Femina Miss South Fresh Face - Nisha Barhamand, Femina Miss South Glamourous Hair - Nidhi Sunil, Femina Miss South Ramp Model -Rikee Chatterjee, HICC Femina Miss South Beautiful Smile - Raiza Wilson, Gorgeous Femina Miss South Beautiful Skin - Apoorva Mittra, RMKV Femina Miss South Photogenic - Kavya Shetty and Cera Femina Miss South Stylist - Pallavi Singh.

The PFMI South 2011 winners were crowned by Nicole Faria - Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2010, Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2010 and reigning Miss Earth 2010. The winner of Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2011 gets direct entry into the top 10 stage of the main pageant - Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2011.

With each contestant standing poised and confident, it was no easy task for the jury that included southern stars Lakshmi Manchu, Shriya Saran, Rana Daggubati and ace Bangalore fashion designer Manoviraj Khosla to pick the winner.

The event started off with hosts Siddharth Kannan and Nethra Raghuraman welcoming the audience as the contestants walked the ramp, choreographed by Marc Robinson, contestant director and fashion director for PFMI 2011.

The 12 finalists presented a collection by title sponsors Pantaloons. Keeping with the current fashion trends and capturing the spirit of today’s Indian woman, Pantaloons created an Indo-Western fusion of kurtis in Indian prints and jeggings for the contestants, who also dazzled in accessories by Zuni.

The added attraction of the show was the breathtaking performances by southern stars, Pia Bajpai, Kamana Jethmalani, Laxmi Rai, Charmi, Ragini Dwivedi, and also by Baba Sehgal and others.

The finalists for the event were picked from the semi-final round in Bangalore earlier this month and groomed perfectly by a team of experts.

The event was produced by 360 Degrees, On Cue - stage and wardrobe management and entertainment dance acts were choreographed by Hormuzd Khambata.

కిరీటాన్ని చెన్నై కి చెందిన శ్వేతా డాలీ సొంతం చేసుకున్నారు తనకి కిరీటాన్ని మిస్ ఇండియా ఎర్త్ 2010 విన్నర్ నిఖోల్ ఫెరియా అందించారు. మొదటి

రన్నరప్ గా చెన్నై కి చెందిన భామ అపూర్వ మిత్ర, రెండో రన్నరప్ గా బెంగళురు కి చెందిన నిది సునీల్ నిలిచారు.

ఫెమినా మిస్ ఇండియా సౌత్ 2011 పోటీల్లో విజేతగా నిలిచిన ‘శ్వేతా డాలీ’ విలేఖరుల సమావేశంలో మాట్లాడుతూ “నేను నిన్నటి వరకూ సాధారణ అమ్మాయిని, ఈ రోజు దక్షిణాది అందాల రాణిని. ప్రస్తుతం నేను ఢిల్లీ యూనివర్సిటీలో మ్యాథమేటిక్స్ డిగ్రీ చేస్తున్నాను. విజేత అవ్వడానికి అందంతో పాటు ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం, ఆలోచనా తీరు కూడా కీలక పాత్రను పోషిస్తాయి. 2011వ సంవత్సరంలో జరిగే మిస్ ఇండియా టాప్ టెన్ లో నేరుగా ప్రవేశం లభించింది.

ఖాళీ సమయంలో పుస్తకాలు ఎక్కువగా చదువుతాను,నాకు నచ్చిన నటీనటులు ఐశ్వర్యరాయ్, అమీర్ ఖాన్. ప్రేమ పెళ్లయినా పెద్దలు కుదిర్చిన పెళ్లయినా రెండూ మంచివే” అని అన్నారు.

ఫస్ట్ రన్నరప్ అపూర్వ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘నేను శ్వేత కన్నా కొంచెం ఎత్తు తక్కువ. అందుకే మొదటి స్థానాన్ని దక్కించుకోలేకపోయాను’ అని తెలిపారు.

సెకెండ్ రన్నరప్ నిధిసునీల్ మాట్లాడుతూ “ఈ పోటీల్లో 3వ స్థానం దక్కినందుకు చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది” అని అన్నారు.
